Artist Residence and Cafe Design:

The project aims to provide benefits to the current needs of the neighborhood. The concept also helps in generating revenue to promote the densification of the current neighborhood. After performing a demographic evaluation, Artist residence and cafe suits the need of the provided neighborhood.

The concept is evolved from the combination of passive and active energy-efficient strategies which are used in appropriate conjunction with urban surroundings. The passive strategies used are orientation, shading device, light well, cross vent, green roof, rainwater retention pond. The active strategies used are solar panels, thermal floor, thermal water heating.  The concept also deals with a variety of masses and goes with the process of minimizing energy consumption.
