Project Summary
Aria is LEED-certified new construction (BD&C), luxury housing apartment building with 185 units, in Edina, Minnesota. It is constructed of two levels of concrete structure, containing housing, parking, and amenity space, and five levels of wood framing containing apartment units
Process
Research
Gathered data with Real estate developers to understand key demographics. Collaborated with client to refine project details.
Ideation
Designed conceptual plans during ideation. Presented concepts to community meetings to understand general perspective.
Build
Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and LEED documents were created for the project build.
Implement
Executed and Reviewed on site project implementation with shop drawings for Construction administration stage
My Role- Research

At the beginning of the project, we collected user data from real estate developers to understand the demographic of the neighborhood. On basis of numerical data, we chose related credits in the design and construction category.
Once the categories were decided, our team pitched selected credits to the stakeholder. After approval, we installed the approved credits. At the end of the project, User surveys were taken to measure user satisfaction.
We administered the survey to understand User satisfaction. The survey accounted for 38% of the total occupants.
Outcome
85 percent of participants marked the building living experience as excellent. The project is currently LEED-certified and is successfully running at Edina, Minneapolis. Details to the survey and Building material data are NDA protected.
